Membership
We are a secular enrichment and support network for homeschooling families. Our
members practice a broad range of learning styles, from highly structured
curricula to delight-driven and unschooling methods. We welcome families of
all races, lifestyles and sexual orientations.
Who can become a member?
Membership is open to local homeschooling families of all faiths and life-styles
that teach
a
college-preparatory secular curriculum. Member families meet in the South Miami-Dade area.
Are there any dues?
There are no membership dues. We each pay our way when we attend activities
together and share expenses when we put together a common project.
What are the member benefits:
- Field trips, play dates and social events.
- A weekly newsletter with information on local events, home
education and other resources of interest to home educators.
- Access to our enrichment curriculum, worksheets, and supporting files.
- Assistance forming local mini-co-ops around our curriculum.
- Password protected Member Directory to help you find other members near you.
- An occasional "Moms Night Out" for a well-deserved
break.
Do I have to drop my other homeschool support
group?
Of course not. No group can be everything to everyone. Many of us
are members of other groups
and
participate often in their activities.
How do I apply?
Fill out the Membership Application form. We'll add you to our mailing list to receive regular activity updates and course syllabi.
